Naarm (Melbourne)-based DIY label and event collective Psychic Hysteria is releasing Psychic Hysteria & Friends #1 - our first compilation. Released on cassette and digitally on November 26, it features 30 artists who have all donated their tracks, with all profits being donated to Dreamtime Aroha's Biggest Mob Christmas Appeal.

You can stream and download the full compilation here. All songs are available for airplay now, and sharing online once the album is live.

Feature tracks include previously unreleased / exclusive songs from V, Mikey Young, Hearts & Rockets, Mares, InfraGhosts, Plaster of Paris X Jimmy Cass, Marville, Billiam and Licklash covering Plasmatics.

The cassette and its sister zine, along with a bunch of new merch, will be launched at the free Psychic Hysteria party taking place at The B.East over the weekend of November 26 & 27 which features live sets from V, Zig Zag and Skink Tank on the Saturday night, and Hearts & Rockets and Loveboner on the Sunday.

The cassette & digital compilation is available for pre-order now, and the album will go live / be out officially November 26. The accompanying zine features contributions from a bunch of the featured artists, as well as some local visual artists and photographers and is a wonderful snapshot of Naarm in 2022.
